The Barnard Astronomical Society of Today

The Barnard Astronomical Society functions today by the principals and motivational examples bequeathed by Clarence T. Jones and Llewellyn Evans. We continue with the activities of the South Eastern Regional Astronomical League and The Tennessee Academy of Science. Our members are active in conducting public awareness seminars in astronomy, telescope making and astrophotography. The core of amateur astronomy today is in the minds of all who seek knowledge in the stars. We must see this spirit live and point the way for all who ask.
